My Life in Six Strings
From what I can gather, this recording (a medley jam of Little Drummer Boy / Silent Night / Taps / Auld Lang Syne) was recorded during the Band of Gypsys rehearsals for the Fillmore shows on 12/31/69 & 1/1/70. It was re-released on CD in 1999 & again in 2005.

This version is from 1995′s GRP Christmas Collection (Vol. 1). Daryl is primarily known for his work with Genesis and Phil Collins. This tune starts out with a smooth jazz vibe, but he lays this silky smooth lead over it that pulls me in every time. Then he lets it rip at the end. Great stuff.
