Joyful Noise 2010 Tour Day 2

We had a fun time playing & singing for worship this morning at Elfinwild church.  We played Blessed Be the Rock and the kids sang We Will Glorify a capella, and I grabbed a video.  I’ll try to get more videos later in the tour.

We left Elfinwild and had lunch at a nearby park. Then the kids went to Highmark Sportsworks while band & tech went to Steubenville, OH to setup for the next show, at Westminster Church. This church is the church Becki (choir director with husband Tom) grew up in, so it was kind of an emotional night.

It was a fun performance, though not without its challenges…hey, it’s live performance! We have had good crowds each night so far, hoping that continues  Tomorrow, band & tech are heading to the Football Hall of Fame.

Joyful Noise 2010 Tour Day 1

Tour got off to an eventful start today. It involved a fawn that had been hit by a car, a missing box of cables that was accidentally left in MD, a mad scramble to find a new hotel (20 rooms!) for the band, tech, and chaperones, and a torrential downpour. Fortunately, it all worked out and we had a blast with our first concert of the tour.

Meanwhile, the kids had a hot day at Sandcastles Water Park. Sorry I didn’t get any pictures of them or the concert tonight, I’ll be sure to get some tomorrow.

We play a couple of songs for worship tomorrow before heading to Steubenville, OH to play there.
