Joyful Noise 2010 Tour Day 4

Today ROCKED! While the kids went to Cedar Point (and I hear they have a few roller coasters there…), some of the band and tech crew went to check out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  What an amazing place.  We were there for four hours and could’ve easily spent another four.  The stuff they have is incredible.  A rich collection of artifacts including guitars & instruments, rejection letters, band payment records, hand written lyric notebooks, clothes, etc. They technically don’t allow photographs inside, but I had to sneak a few anyway. :)

Avon Lake is right on Lake Erie, about 30 minutes east of Cleveland and it is beautiful. The United Church of Christ was a wonderful venue and the concert was great.  Another good crowd.  We also have a really nice hotel here, so a good experience all around.  Tomorrow we leave for Bethel Park, PA — our final stop before heading home.

And, of course we will wrap up the tour with our homecoming concert, next Friday, June 25, 2010 at 7pm at Oakdale Emory United Methodist Church.
