Joyful Noise 2010 Tour Day 1

Tour got off to an eventful start today. It involved a fawn that had been hit by a car, a missing box of cables that was accidentally left in MD, a mad scramble to find a new hotel (20 rooms!) for the band, tech, and chaperones, and a torrential downpour. Fortunately, it all worked out and we had a blast with our first concert of the tour.

Meanwhile, the kids had a hot day at Sandcastles Water Park. Sorry I didn’t get any pictures of them or the concert tonight, I’ll be sure to get some tomorrow.

We play a couple of songs for worship tomorrow before heading to Steubenville, OH to play there.

JN 2010 Day 1

A fawn that was hit by a car near Oakdale Emory. Unfortunately, the injuries were too bad and the little guy didn’t make it.	Two buses for the 50-or-so kids in the choir.	The truck hauls all the sound equipment and stuff.
The band & tech first stop, same as last year! Charbroiled thickburgers. Some of us went to Quiznos instead.	We spotted this sweet vette in Breezewood.	The load in.
Go Caps!	Elfinwild church, we played the concert tonight and return for a couple of songs in the morning worship.	Dave and his enormous bowl of melty ice cream.
